If you have searched for somewhere to shop in Venice and come back with a department store and three listicles, that is not your search being bad. It is that almost none of the actual stock in Venice is on the internet in any form a search engine can read.
An independent shop here might carry a few hundred pieces and have none of them listed anywhere. No online store, no product feed, no SKU data. The jacket you would have bought is hanging on a rail a few minutes away, and there is no way for it to tell you it exists.
What Venice is good for
Resort, surf, linen. It is an area where the person who buys the stock is usually the person behind the counter, which is why the selection has a point of view and why it changes week to week.
When Shophr gets here
We are not delivering in Venice yet. Shophr is live in Melrose and West Hollywood and opens one area at a time, because a shopper who opens the app and finds three shops is a shopper we never see again.
